A-Reece calls out Nota Baloyi for disrespecting him

With A-Reece releasing his new song titled “Achilles”, it caused a bit of a frenzy in various ways, and one of those ways is Nota Baloyi popping up to call out A-Reece for his recent track.

Nota Baloyi went on to tweet;

A-Reece actually responded to Nota Baloyi’s tweet above by tweeting;

A-Reece still followed up by tweeting;

Nota Baloyi actually responded to A-Reece’s above tweets because you know he always has to get the last word in, below is what he had to say;

The mere fact that you are responding the way you are, means that you know what I’m saying is true, you understand. When DJ Sbu came to interview you, I was like dope, okay, and what did I say to you? I said yo, you need to stop hanging around with these cats out here and go international, and that is what I expect of you. And when you do anything less than I expect young boy, I don’t like that because you’re letting me down, you understand? I don’t vouch for you to disappoint me and be stuck out there suffering, carrying your brother’s career along, no, I want you to excel, I demand better of you and I expect better of you, and you let me, and then you come into my Twitter comments replying and then you disgust me.

Nota Baloyi further said;

I gotta respond to you young man, so my response to you is that you’re letting yourself down bro. You are stuck there in load shedding, you should be elevating yourself, elevating your brand, I come with constructive criticism, I show you only love and then you take that love call me a b!+ch, you call your OG a b!+ch. I’m your OG, the plate that you eat off is the plate that I prepared, and you call me a b!+ch. I’m saying come here dawg, book a flight here, I’ll get you a place to stay, I’ll put you in the studio and I’ll make sure that your career actually goes somewhere. But as for you trying to diss me and thinking that is going to get you anywhere, nah.

For the longest time, Nota Baloyi has had harsh words for both A-Reece and Nasty C, so his criticizing A-Reece once again is nothing new.

I honestly don’t know what he is on about because A-Reece has been traveling lately, I mean he just the Hennessy Cypher in Nigeria but in order to get there I’m assuming he first stopped in Nairobi, Kenya, hence the line in “Achilles” where he said;

Touch down Nairobi, I’m receivin’ salutations, I’m just connectin’ flights to the final destination.

Now let’s also not forget about him making his way to Zambia where he perfectly described his trip on the song “Godlike”.

So A-Reece has been outside and granted it is not the United States of America like Nota Baloyi wants, but any rapper you can think of who has traveled that side hasn’t had a drastic change or elevation in their career like Nota Baloyi keeps promising.

And I just find it ironic that for the longest of times, Nota Baloyi had been calling A-Reece an American wannabe, and now he wants him to leave Africa and go to the United States of America, I mean make it make sense.

I mean rapping in English is one thing but moving to America and adopting their lifestyle is a whole different level of appropriation, so I’m not sure what Nota Baloyi was on about, but I think he needs to inform himself about such things before making ignorant comments.

Nota Baloyi also mentioned the fans outgrowing A-Reece, which is honestly ridiculous, I mean you can make an argument for A-Reece actually outgrowing his fanbase considering how detailed and descriptive the song “Achilles” is.

I mean just using this song as an example, it was full of various references about historical events which some fans would openly admit that they had no knowledge of.

So not only are A-Reece’s songs a piece of art, they are actually educational, so I think Nota Baloyi really misinformed himself about those things.

Now responding to people’s tweets on Twitter is really out of character for A-Reece, so clearly the things Nota Baloyi said this time around upset the “TouchÉ” rapper.

The only reason I see A-Reece getting upset about Nota Baloyi’s recent comments about him is because he didn’t express these same sentiments when they actually saw each other in person a few months back at ‘The Hustlers Corner’ podcast hosted by DJ Sbu.

Now I see where A-Reece is coming from, I mean if Nota Baloyi couldn’t address him in person when he had the opportunity to do so previously, then don’t do it online either, you look funny in the light talking a certain way online but not being able to do so in person, my advice is just don’t say anything at all.

Well, you guys let me know your thoughts on this, what do you make of A-Reece and Nota Baloyi addressing each other and whose side are you on?
