Nasty C addresses A-Reece again in a new video snippet

So it seems like the never-ending beef between Nasty C and A-Reece continues, this is because the former dropped a reel on Instagram showcasing the Behind The Scenes for his new album press-kit shoot.

In the video, we see Nasty C obviously taking pictures for his press kit in preparation for his new album and we were also treated to some new unreleased snippets which I’m assuming are for the album.

The one snippet that caught my attention is when Nasty C said;

I’m not a stranger to fame but I really think I’m related to wins, consistent as f**k, I was born to be up, I can’t see the sh!t from another view, you could call me what you want, I come from the bottom the slander is nothing new, it’s ironic I got him pissed off because I’m number one sh!tt!ng on number two.

Now let me first start off by saying the snippet sounds really hot, so shout out to Nasty C, he’s really got me anticipating his next drop.

Going back to the lyrics we had on the snippet above, more specifically the last two lines where Nasty C said;

It’s ironic I got him pissed off because I’m number one sh!tt!ng on number two.

If we are being objective and honest, the general consensus would dictate that Nasty C’s projects, ‘Zulu Man With Some Power’ and the ‘Ivyson Army Tour’ mixtape, weren’t received the best if we are comparing them to his previous works such as ‘Bad Hair’ and ‘Strings and Bling’, and because of that, he did receive a lot of slander from fans and critics wanting him to do better.

But according to Nasty C, none of that seems to phase him considering that he acknowledges himself as the number one rapper in South Africa.

He also stated he is st!tt!ng on number two, and if you read between the lines, you will come to the conclusion that he is addressing his number one peer, A-Reece.

I mean right now A-Reece and Nasty C are considered as the best two rappers in South African hip hop.

Whether you are an A-Reece stan or a Nasty C stan, you will either have one of them on top of the other. And I say stan because they are incapable of basing anything on objectivity, but rather let their subjective opinions control their narrative.

If we are keeping it 100%, Nasty C is the number one rapper in South Africa if we are basing it off of numbers, streams, and features, I mean we cannot deny that he is really killing it.

Now going based on the above, I would assume it has a lot of Slimes (A-Reece’s die-hard fans) pissed off knowing that Nasty c is doing better than A-Reece in the above-mentioned aspects.

But if we are talking about the actual music itself, the arts, or better yet the music catalog, then we cannot deny that A-Reece is taking the number one spot. I mean A-Reece’s ‘From Me to You & Only You’ is the longest-charting South African hip hop album, and the majority of his catalog stays charting on Apple music alone.

So depending on which side of the fence you sit on, both guys are doing really well, but I do find it interesting that Nasty C is finally acknowledging that he feels as if he is number one and he is sh!tt!ng on number two, whereas for the longest of time, A-Reece has been proclaiming to be the best rapper in Africa.

So both Nasty C and A-Reece are clearly feeling themselves right now and it really leaves me anticipating both of their new studio albums which are dropping later this year, so it is definitely a good time for South African hip hop and the fans.

And with that being said, you guys let me know your thoughts on this. What do you make of Nasty C’s new snippet and do you think he is addressing A-Reece?

Also, let me know if you are anticipating Nasty C’s new studio album.
