I don\u2019t give a fuck what you say in the comments. Some of us did not know you before this tweet\ud83d\ude2d\ud83d\ude2d\ud83d\ude2d\ud83d\ude2d <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/frRJVD6ZNt\" target=\"_blank\">pic.twitter.com\/frRJVD6ZNt<\/a><\/p>&mdash; \u30c4 O R I (@Ori_RSA) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Ori_RSA\/status\/1663852571767762947?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">May 31, 2023<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Another Twitter user, @PovertykillerB from Cape Town tweeted;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">We will defeat load shedding before you blow up Luc.<\/p>&mdash; PovertyKiller_Official \uea00 (@PovertykillerB) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/PovertykillerB\/status\/1663856639542280193?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">May 31, 2023<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Twitter user, @uSefa_06, tweeted;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">You still young, you can still go back to school and complete grade 11 &amp; 12 then go to Rosebank college \ud83e\udd27<\/p>&mdash; TittyBoySefa\ud83e\udd0c\ud83c\udfff (@uSefa_06) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/uSefa_06\/status\/1663837235228160000?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">May 31, 2023<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Now damn, I&#8217;ll admit that this stuff was funny as Lucasraps was getting dragged in real-time, and it is insane because he is really talented but unfortunately people don&#8217;t care about that when you decide to disrespect an entire music genre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But you get the point though, the above are just a few tweets of Lucasraps getting dragged for the whole day, and people were not holding back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now I can&#8217;t help but think what prompted Lucasraps to tweet this, I mean we all know that amapiano is currently dominating the South African music industry, so let us pray for hip-hop gentlemen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maybe Lucasraps feels disgruntled that he is not getting as many gigs because of the amapiano artists taking up those spots or could it be that because of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/nsfas.net\/lucasraps-blxckie-open-up-about-their-relationship\/\">feud he has with Blxckie<\/a><\/strong>, maybe he feels this way because we all know that Blxckie doubles in amapiano here and there, so maybe this is his way of taking a shot at him, or maybe he just genuinely feels that way about amapiano and it being wack because he is a hip hop purist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regardless of what his reason is, him tweeting this is crazy and bold, and I say this because he is essentially blocking a lot of opportunities for himself by expressing his viewpoint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I mean I don&#8217;t really see a lot of artists or event organizers who love <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Amapiano\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">amapiano<\/a><\/strong>, actually appreciating what Lucasraps had to say.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Therefore Lucasraps just tweeting this, is ignorance in my opinion, I mean amapiano is a homegrown music sound that South Africans are trying to export to the rest of the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I mean how many lives has it changed?, how many families are being fed from this genre dominating the South African music industry? and I can say countless.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You have global superstars like <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Beyonc%C3%A9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Beyonc\u00e9<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Chris_Brown\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Chris Brown<\/a><\/strong> incorporating amapiano into their music, which is a huge win for South Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All I know for sure is that amapiano is dominating the music space and for someone to trash it speaks to another level of ignorance, I&#8217;m not going to sit here and say that I love amapiano and I listen to it every day because honestly I don&#8217;t, I&#8217;m a hip hop fan through and through, but at the same time I can respect the amapiano genre and what it is doing for the artists and the whole South Africa as a country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If anything, Lucasraps could actually learn from the amapiano artists and actually elevate his music career, because honestly speaking, he really needs it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tweets like these don&#8217;t help his career in any form, they actually just harm it and it is actually crazy because as overly critical as people are towards his career, he is also a detriment to it as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And with all that said, you guys let me know your thoughts on this.
