I had high hopes for him.<\/p>&mdash; 9 (@9henry_) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/9henry_\/status\/1648973445667889154?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">April 20, 2023<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Now I don&#8217;t know what metric these individuals are basing A-Reece&#8217;s falloff on, and that is even to say if he even fell off, but what are they going based on?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes, A-Reece doesn&#8217;t have the best management that pushes him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And yes he doesn&#8217;t efficiently promote certain music that he releases, but I thought we all knew by now that A-Reece does things his own way, and moves the way he wants to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I still find it funny that we have people in 2023 trying to play A-Reece&#8217;s manager and tell him how to move.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If it is a case of you not liking his music or the single, \u2018<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=z6gGrPgbHgw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bet On Myself<\/a><\/strong>\u2019, that he dropped, then leave it at that, after all, music is subjective and no one can tell you what to like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But at the same time, don&#8217;t paint a false narrative about him falling off when we all know that he is still one of the top rappers in South Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I mean currently as I&#8217;m writing this article, A-Reece has six music projects in the top 100 hip hop rap albums on the Apple Music charts in South Africa, with the remix Deluxe of \u2018<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/music.apple.com\/za\/album\/the-burning-tree\/1620376014\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Burning Tree<\/a><\/strong>\u2019 sitting at number two.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now for a project that allegedly has not been received well right, how come it is doing so well in the music charts?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And it also needs to be noted that A-Reece also has one of the highest Spotify fan retention percentages in South Africa with 327%, which speaks to how good he is at turning his monthly listeners into followers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Therefore if A-Reece is still charting well and attracting more fans to his music, then where is the fall off? I&#8217;m still asking myself what metric these individuals base their conclusion on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And by the way, I like what another Twitter had to say on the matter. Some even go as far as trying to convince us that the music is bad.
