Zoocci Coke Dope falls out with Vaughn Thiel
So it looks like another fallout is taking place among some of the most prominent players in the South African hip-hop industry.
It is alleged that music producer Zoocci Coke Dope and Vaughn Thiel who is the label head and artist manager of ‘STAY LOW’ have finally split.
This is after Zoocci Coke Dope came out with a series of tweets to express his grievances with the matter as he first went to say;
Imagine leaving a company and wanting to leave a deal and people start acting like some h0e5, doing everything to spite you when they should just let it go. Like yes, that is why people like us shouldn’t work together, look at how ya’ll acting. Ya neh Star v, you a h0e bro dawn.
Zoocci Coke Dope followed up by tweeting;
I met a lot of weirdos in my life but you definitely top 1 bro. Watch him run to his boss about these tweets. This the thanks I get, h0e sh!t
The father of one still continued by saying;
Zoocci then concluded by tweeting;
From what I can tell, Vaughn Thiel hasn’t said anything in response to what Zoocci Coke Dope said, I guess to control the narrative as Zoocci put it but it is worthy of noting that they both unfollowed each other on Instagram.
So Zoocci Coke Dope clearly feels like he no longer wants any association with Vaughn Thiel or ‘STAY LOW’, maybe because he feels like their partnership has not produced anything fruitful that he couldn’t do himself, and because of this, he wants out.
I guess he feels like people are finally showing their true colors and because of that, he’s established that Vaughn Thiel is one of the worst people he’s come across or had to deal with.
Now if that is the case, it would make sense why Shane Eagle departed from being managed by Vaughn Thiel, which he is often criticized for.
We all know that Shane Eagle got a lot done whilst being managed by Vaughn, but it was never explained why they split because from the outside looking in, everything was looking good.
I mean we had tours, merchandise, and we saw Shane Eagle working with Dreamville artists and so on, but I guess there was an underlying problem that Zoocci Coke Dope has experienced as well.
It all just sounds as if Zoocci Coke Dope is being held against his own will, which is why we have this outburst from him. I just feel that if someone doesn’t want to work with you or have any association with you, then let them leave.
If Zoocci Coke Dope wants no part of Vaughn or STAY LOW, they should let him go because forcing him to stay whilst making his life difficult is only going to make matters worse.
I mean when it all comes down to it, the music suffers which will eventually affect the consumers because these guys have been working together for a while by using both their ventures to collaborate with each other.
In case you need a reminder, Piff Audio and STAY LOW came to a partnership just last year, where STAY LOW has done a lot of press and promotional media for some of the Piff Audio artists.
And in regard to Zoocci Coke Dope, we have seen him engineer and produce for most of the artists under STAY LOW, from Priddy Ugly to Lordkez and Mars Baby.
Therefore for a fallout like this to take place, it’s just sad to see because the music definitely suffers and we already know that artists from both camps take time in dropping their music, so add a dispute into the mix and who knows how long it can take for the fans to ever get new music until things are resolved. But I guess we’ll only know until the situation unfolds some more.
